FIGHTING WITH YOU FOR YOU
Nephrotic syndrome is a kidney disorder that causes your body to pass too much protein in your urine.
Nephrotic syndrome is usually caused by damage to the clusters of small blood vessels in your kidneys that filter waste and excess water from your blood. The condition causes swelling, particularly in your feet and ankles, and increases the risk of other health problems.
Our company was founded in 2015 and was official established in January 2021. To fill the need for an energetic, nonprofit working organization in this area, we formed Hope for N.E.S.T. Inc. to provide sensible solutions. Since then, we have consistently grown thanks to our community, friends, and family.
Fighting with you, for you.
The main purpose of our organization is to bring awareness to childhood nephrotic syndrome and provide a support system for families. Our organization was created to provide information that would enhance family’s knowledge and awareness of Nephrotic syndrome. We provide information on the syndrome as well as low sodium information, diet menus, etc. The children and young adults battling with this condition will be provided with a care package that includes hospital necessities to make their hospital stays a little comfortable.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Krystelle Rodney – President and founder of the Hope For N.E.S.T Foundation. I am truly passionate about this Foundation. My journey began when my daughter was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome two month after her second birthday. Nephrotic Syndrome is an autoimmune disorder that my daughter battles daily. Her life has changed after that day at the hospital. It was the first time my family or myself heard of this condition. We were petrified because this disorder is not widely known, and we were not sure how bad it would be for her. Since that time, I have been committed to educating parents about this disorder. Now parents do not have to be afraid or uninformed about this disorder. Our mission is to educate others and change lives. I am very grateful to my friends and family who has been very supportive in this process. Family time has become the best part of my day. Dinner time and movie nights are cherished in my household.
My name is Samuel Rodney and I became the treasurer of this amazing organization in January 2021. Having first hand experience with Nephrotic Syndrome has evoke in me a passion for helping parents and families who are also struggling with this syndrome. With my passion for helping these children and the knowledge gained in the social work field I hope that I could touch as many lives as possible through our organization.
